Full Stack Developer

Your New Company 

Vitrafy Life Sciences is an Australian based, globally oriented Life Sciences business, focused on the advancement of biomedical cryopreservation.  

This dynamic business is currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and development and is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join its close-knit Ballarat operation.   

Your New Role 

You will work closely with Vitrafy Life Sciences’ Technical, Clinical and Research and Development Teams on a variety of projects, including the design and development of new platforms and solutions to compliment and support the company’s current and future business operations.  

This pivotal role will also see you taking the lead on key projects, engaging and overseeing the work of specialist contractors and providing insight, advice and consultation to relevant teams throughout the design, development and implementation phases.  

What You’ll Need 

  • An entrepreneurial spirit with excellent written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Full Stack Engineering background, with a focus on modern source control and development environments 
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge of cloud architecture, technology and languages
  • Experience with Global Cloud provider architecture and services
  • RESTful Protocol development for robust and secure API specification 
  • Electronic Sensing and telemetry concepts including development and integration 
  • Ability to draw up technical and functional specifications for written documentation 
  • Application architecture design – Organise and design applications, structure code, separate files, set up proper file hosting and configure databases 
  • An aptitude for solving practical problems and handling a variety of variables in situations where only limited standard rules exist 
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment 
  • Experience in conducting and completing technical design projects
